Register for Introducing Maple 16 Webinar in May 2012

Introducing Maple 16 by Glen Irving at 11am on Thursday, 31 May

Maple is the essential technical computing software for today’s engineers and scientists. Whether you need to do quick calculations, develop design sheets, or produce sophisticated high-fidelity simulation models, Maple provides the necessary technology to reduce errors and dramatically increase your analytical productivity.

Maple combines the world’s most powerful mathematical computation engine with an intuitive user interface. Its smart document environment automatically captures all of your technical knowledge in an electronic form that seamlessly integrates calculations, explanatory text and math, graphics, images, sound, and more.

Maple is a vital component of your tool chain, integrating with CAD, Excel®, and other standard tools. Maple includes code generation tools for C and Fortran, and is supported by an extensive range of products for various industrial applications including automotive, aerospace, electronics, energy, and finance.

University of Canterbury use Maple T.A. to deliver innovative maths courses online

Being innovators paid off in a time of real need for the University of Canterbury, based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The University was one of the first institutions in New Zealand to adopt and utilise Maple T.A. to deliver their mathematics based course material and was quick to realise that they could use the software to avoid any disruption to their classes following a sizeable earthquake in Christchurch on February 22, 2011.

Maple T.A. is an easy-to-use web-based system for creating tests and assignments, and automatically assessing student responses and performance. It supports complex, free-form entry of mathematical equations and intelligent evaluation of responses, making it ideal for science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), or any course that requires mathematics...
