How do you use it?
For novices, the expert selection mode makes creating a forecast as easy as clicking a mouse button. For experts, Forecast Pro offers a wide range of state-of-the-art forecasting models, diagnostics and options. All models allow either manual or automatic identification.
Forecast Pro's built-in expert system takes the guesswork out of forecasting. You provide the historic data and Forecast Pro does the rest. The expert system analyses your data, selects the appropriate forecasting technique, builds the model and calculates the forecast. A handy batch forecast procedure saves you time and effort by automating the process for larger forecasting jobs.
Three versions of Forecast Pro are available - basic, extended (XE) and unlimited. The basic edition contains the basic features required by all business environments, plus multiple level forecasting (by stock unit, brand, geographic region etc).
Forecast Pro XE contains all the features of the basic edition, plus event models (sales promotions, moveable holidays, mailouts et al) and dynamic regression for leading variables (economic growth, house values or building consents) . We think most organisations will need this edition.
Forecast Pro Unlimited is designed for organisation who need to prepare batch forecasts for hundreds or thousands of items.
