There are some terms we use that might not be obvious:
"Updates" are programs that replace or update your existing software to give you the latest versions. Some can be about 50MB so be careful about retrieving them.
"Downloads" can be trial versions, complete or partly disabled. They can also be brochures, or documents that give background to the use of the products.
"Resources" are free utilities, descriptive materials or anything that can make your work easier. Some are general to the whole site, and some are associated with specific products.
"Slide shows" are PowerPoint presentations that run automatically or with your control, and which show the user interface and the methods for useing the particular program. They take about 5-10 minutes if left to run automatically. Use them to get an overview of the software, or as a very condensed training program.
Page references
Our page references appear to be cryptic - for example the STATISTICA product overview page is refered to as http://www.hrs.co.nz/(e21qpz55jtwhm545r2ukypny)/prod_overview.aspx?ProductID=80
The stuff in the middle can be ignored, as it is used to keep track of your session, instead of using cookies. The system we use stores pages in "aspx" files, and the products all have numbers. You can get to the same place by typing in www.hrs.co.nz/STATISTICA or the equivalent for any other product page.
